PARIS, March 1 — The International Energy Agency (IEA) is actively monitoring events in the Middle East and the potential implications for global oil and gas markets and trade flows,” its director, Fatih ⁠Birol, ⁠said ⁠in a post ⁠on ⁠X.

“Markets have been well ⁠supplied to date,” he said, adding that he is in ⁠contact with ministries from major producers ⁠in the region and IEA ⁠governments ⁠about the situation. — Reuters
