A Malaysian woman has allegedly been left in a horrible position after her foreign now-ex-boyfriend had allegedly used her to live a secret life while cheating with other women and taking money from people.
Taking to her Instagram account, content creator Niqi Arrisya shared how she fears for her life after discovering her ex-boyfriend’s wrongdoings and how he allegedly threatened her.
In a video, she said, “I am scared for my life, and if anything happens to me after this video, you know who did it. I never thought I’d be in this position, begging strangers on the internet to listen, but I have no choice.”
“For 3 years, I loved a man I thought was my future. I trusted him with my heart, my safety and my life. But the man I thought I knew doesn’t exist.”
“I found out he was cheating on me with multiple women, that he’s taken money from people, that he’s been living an entirely separate life behind my back.”
Things quickly escalated
The ex-boyfriend, who is from Egypt, apparently resorted to intimidation and threats when she confronted him and requested that he pay her an amount of RM6,000, which he allegedly owes her. He has allegedly only paid her RM2,000 so far and has been accused of using threats to scare her into backing down.
Among his threats were that he would expose “illegal” things that she does and that she’ll be left jobless.
She also shared that the ex-boyfriend may be in an unstable state as he is currently embroiled in a political crime case with the authorities, a legal matter she cannot further disclose.
“When I confronted him, the mask came off. He sent me threats, messages meant to intimidate me into silence. And here’s what terrifies me even more – he’s already involved in another legal matter I can’t talk about. I know he has people protecting him, powerful people who could help him make sure my voice is never heard,”
“Right now, he’s unstable. He has nothing left to lose. And when I went to the authorities, they told me that because nothing physical has happened yet, there’s nothing they can do. But, are we supposed to wait for something to happen? Wait for the worst to happen?”
Several other women have allegedly spoken up as well
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Niqi clarified that, despite the police not being able to take any action, a report was filed for the sake of her safety. She also informed us that she has been approached by several women who are allegedly also victims of the same man.
She also took the time to shed some light on the illegal things her ex-boyfriend is accusing her of.
She explained that the illegal things were that she had previously used her ex-boyfriend’s debit card to purchase fast food during their relationship, and that she had broken his laptop when she learned about his cheating escapades.
When she informed the police about the broken laptop, they allegedly laughed and pointed out that the ex-boyfriend deserved it for cheating on her.
“This is bigger than me now. This is for every woman who has been lied to, manipulated and made to feel powerless.”
“For my mother, my sister, my friends. I’m speaking out because silence protects him and puts me in more danger,” she added.
