IJM Corp chairman Krishnan Tan says he is cooperating with MACC investigations and is not involved in the company’s daily operations

KUALA LUMPUR: IJM Corporation Bhd non-executive chairman Tan Sri Krishnan Tan (pic) says he has fully cooperated with authorities regarding an ongoing Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) investigation.

In a statement, he confirmed he will continue to assist with the probe.

“I have fully cooperated with the authorities and will continue to do so,” Tan said.

He added that he has full confidence in the country’s enforcement process and laws.

Tan also clarified that he is not involved in the day-to-day operations and management of IJM Corporation.

He declined to comment further while investigations are ongoing.

In a separate statement, IJM Corp said it has also been fully cooperating with the authorities.

The company said it has responded promptly to all requests and provided all relevant information.

IJM’s board assured stakeholders that business operations continue as usual.

The company said it has taken appropriate measures to ensure business is conducted with integrity.

It highlighted its robust governance frameworks, including an Anti-Bribery Management System certified to ISO 37001:2025.

The board and management remain focused on business continuity and maintaining confidence.

IJM Corp said it will not comment further while the matter is under investigation.

The company will provide updates in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
