Opened last October, Vivide has quickly established itself as one of the most sought-after tables in Paris. At this fully plant-based gastronomic address, reservations are pouring in for a refined and remarkably accomplished experience.
In the heart of Paris’s 18th arrondissement, Vivide is already drawing in both curious diners and seasoned food lovers. Conceived by Michelle Primc and chef Jérémy Grosdidier, the restaurant opened its doors last autumn, following the success of Pristine, their first venture. Here, plant-based gastronomy moves beyond expectations, exploring a freer, more ambitious and deeply indulgent territory.

Plant-based cuisine, elevated to fine dining
At Vivide, a multi-course tasting menu sets the rhythm of the evening, evolving with the seasons and daily produce. Vegetables take centre stage, prepared with precision using techniques such as open-fire grilling, fermentation, smoking and charcoal cooking.
Each dish plays with contrasts, without heaviness or excess. Beetroot enhanced with ginger and clementine, smoked butternut with seeds and miso, a savoury hazelnut tart… flavours gain depth, textures interact, and seasoning stands out for its finesse.
Here, plant-based cuisine does not seek to imitate—it asserts its own rich and nuanced language. An approach that appeals well beyond a purely vegetarian audience.

A restaurant designed as an experience
The setting reflects this same philosophy. Open kitchen, soft lighting, raw materials and carefully sourced furniture: Vivide cultivates a pared-back, intimate and welcoming atmosphere. Textured walls made with coffee grounds and concrete tables contribute to its distinctive identity.
The experience also extends to the glass, with a thoughtful selection of French wines, often biodynamic or natural. Service is attentive yet relaxed, guiding the experience with ease.
In a city where new openings come and go quickly, Vivide already seems to have found its place: that of a contemporary, precise and deeply desirable dining destination.
