Felix Rosenqvist’s dramatic victory at the Indianapolis 500 came with one of the more unusual liveries on the grid, with the Swedish driver’s No. 60 Meyer Shank Racing Honda featuring branding from country music star Morgan Wallen.

The sight of Wallen’s name and imagery on the winning car at Indianapolis Motor Speedway left many fans wondering about the connection. Despite the prominent design, Wallen was not personally involved with the team or directly sponsoring Rosenqvist during the Month of May.

The livery was instead part of a broader promotional partnership between Meyer Shank Racing and SiriusXM. The broadcaster used the event to highlight its Morgan Wallen Radio station, which was available throughout May.

Why Morgan Wallen appeared on Felix Rosenqvist’s Indy 500 car

The No. 60 Honda carried a design inspired by Wallen’s branding rather than a direct sponsorship from the singer himself.

“Wallen’s music will ride along with Rosenqvist as he begins his Month of May campaign in style,” the team said.

“The No. 60 SiriusXM Honda will sport a new livery inspired by Wallen’s signature aesthetic that captures the spirit of country music and the energy of one of the genre’s biggest names.”

The collaboration became one of the more talked-about visual stories from the Indianapolis 500 weekend as music and motorsport crossed over in unusual fashion.

Felix Rosenqvist secured biggest win of IndyCar career

While the car’s design drew significant attention online, Rosenqvist’s performance on track ensured the No. 60 machine would become memorable for far more than its appearance.

The Meyer Shank Racing driver secured the biggest win of his IndyCar career after overtaking Pato O’Ward in the closing stages to capture his first Indianapolis 500 victory.

The win was only the second IndyCar victory of Rosenqvist’s career and reportedly came with a financial reward estimated between $3.5 million and $4 million.

The total Indianapolis 500 purse was expected to land somewhere between $20.5 million and $21 million, continuing the race’s reputation as one of the richest events in global motorsport.

Regardless of the payout, Rosenqvist’s Morgan Wallen-themed Honda will now remain attached to one of the most memorable Indianapolis 500 victories in recent years.
