Manchester United investors INEOS do not envision any eligibility issues for the Europa League.

Both United and Nice are set to compete in Europe's second tier competition next season.

However, the INEOS group has a minority stake in United and a controlling stake in Nice, which may break UEFA rules.

The British group, led by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, have put out a statement regarding the issue.

The statement reads: We are aware of the position of the two clubs and we are in direct dialogue with UEFA.

We are convinced that we have a solution for next season in Europe."
