KOTA KINABALU: A local influencer has shared on social media her account of confronting a man she claimed was caught attempting to film her inside a women’s toilet at a shopping mall here recently.
In a 14-minute Instagram video, she said she noticed a mobile phone placed under the toilet door while she was inside and left immediately to confront the man.
The man reportedly fled but was later spotted by the influencer, who persuaded him to follow her to the mall’s security office to review CCTV footage.

Following her post, other women came forward online with similar experiences of being filmed in toilets, with some alleging the same individual was involved.
