KOTA KINABALU: Following the circulation of online posts highlighting conditions at the Gymnastics Hall at the Kota Kinabalu Sports Complex, the Sabah Sports Board said an initial investigation has been carried out to assess the issues raised.
In a statement on Friday, the Board said immediate steps had been taken to address several of the concerns highlighted in the video.
The board said it takes all complaints seriously and remains committed to resolving issues in line with established procedures and regulations, including through the use of special allocations where required.
It stressed that the viral footage does not reflect the board’s ongoing efforts, adding that user safety and comfort at state sports complexes remain a priority.
The board also welcomed public cooperation and feedback, saying such input is essential to improving service quality over time.
