
TAMBUNAN: A hiker had to be brought down by rescue workers from Kitomoling Waterfall in Gunung Alab, here, Sunday after he complained of fatigue.
The District Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 6.20 pm and six members led by Operation Commander, Razak Mohd Tahir were at the scene with EMRS.
The rescue team led the victim down to the starting point of the climb and then sent to the Tambunan hospital using the EMRS machine for treatment.
Meanwhile, in Keningau, a non-permanent store at Kg Kauran was destroyed by a morning fire.

The firemen extinguished the fire while there was no report of casualty.
The operation ended at 4.45 am.
