Art on my skin? What that means? Oh yes, I’m definitely talking about my tattoos. As of today, I have 7 tattoos. And each of them has its own significant meaning and reasons.
As we are all aware, it has always been a debate of whether tattoos are good or bad? In my opinion, tattoos are a way of expressing yourself, without having to say a word. Tattoos speaks for itself in the best way possible.
Yes, I do agree, from a medical point of view, it would be a big NO. That is because it pierces through the skin, which can lead to skin allergies, and its high in the risk factor with any other skin related infections. And some may even think it’s a ridiculous way of self hurt, as tattoos can be very painful at certain points on the body.
Often times, having tattoos can be a reason for being misjudged. But, as a tattooed person, I have always decided to ignore all negative comments or misjudgments. I love my tattoos and I love the idea of getting tattoos. Everyone would not agree to this, but we cannot live in peace if we decide to please everyone. My tattoos are done for my happiness, and I’ll always stand by that.
Because what is life if we do not take risks? No pain, no gain. Again here, many might disagree, but for me, tattoos symbolises an expression of small parts of story in my life.
I cant wait to get more tattoos. It’s something permanent that carries so much meaning to an individual’s life. I have always heard comments like “As you get older, you will regret”, “It is only nice when you are younger”. Totally disagree.
So here I am, Inked, with no regrets.
