Move over, Chanel and Louis Vuitton. Labubu is already running the collectibles game. I must admit that when I first heard some of these Pop Mart toys from Hong Kong were reselling for over $10,000 (RM 5,407), I was genuinely appalled. These Nordic-inspired dolls (small, quirky, and admittedly cute) aren’t just toys anymore. Rare editions are commanding prices that rival, and sometimes surpass, iconic luxury handbags. From streetwear collaborations to life-sized sculptures, Labubu has captured the attention of collectors, celebrities, and investors alike. And if you think that’s wild, wait until you see these Labubu toys that resell for a price tag of thousands of dollars.

Also, take this quiz to understand how well you know your Labubu.

Why are some of them pricier than luxury bags like Chanel?

It might sound impossible, but certain Labubu dolls have actually outpaced Chanel bags in resale value. For example, a rare Labubu x Vans plush sold for $10,503 (RM 5,678), while many Chanel classic flap bags retail for less or sit around similar price points. Even the life-sized mint-green Labubu, which went for over $170,000 (RM91,919), surpasses most Chanel handbags, including some vintage and limited-edition models. While Chanel bags are timeless investments in fashion, Labubu dolls are quickly becoming collectible assets, blending art, pop culture, and exclusivity in a way that resonates with a new generation of luxury enthusiasts.

Labubu figures that dominated the resell market

1. Labubu x Vans Collaboration Plush

Released as part of a limited-edition collaboration, this Labubu plush originally retailed for about $85 (RM 45). In August 2025, one of these dolls resold for $10,503 (RM 5,678) on eBay, making it one of the most expensive Labubu sales recorded on the platform. The sharp increase in value is attributed to its rarity and the popularity of the Vans partnership.

2. Human-sized Labubu (131 cm mint-green edition)

In an auction also held by Yongle International, a human-sized mint-green Labubu (131 cm) sold for 1.08 million yuan, approximately $150,275 (RM 81,243). According to Reuters, this figure was reportedly the only one of its kind and set a new benchmark for Labubu valuations.

3. Don’t Hear, Don’t See, Don’t Speak” trio

At the same Beijing auction, a set of three Labubu sculptures titled ‘Three Wise Labubu’ or ‘Don’t Hear, Don’t See, Don’t Speak’ went under the hammer. In a surprising bid, the set sold for $81,599 (RM 44,115). Naturally, collectors valued it not only for its rarity but also for its sculptural and artistic design. According to People, this set is valued for its exclusivity but for its creative craftsmanship.

4. Preserved Flower Labubu set

Also, at the June 2025 auction, a two-piece Labubu set featuring preserved flowers sold for $10,399 (RM 5,622). People reported that its aesthetic variation and limited nature made it a desirable collectible.

5. Labubu x sacai x Carhartt WIP Blind Box

Later, Pharrell’s Joopiter platform hosted a surprise-filled charity auction that sold 14 exclusive Labubu plush toys. Unsurprisingly, each fetched between $18,750 and $31,250 (RM 10,137 to RM 16,895). They far surpassed their presale estimates of $300 to $500 (RM 162 to RM270). Among these, a limited-edition Labubu x sacai x Carhartt WIP blind box stood out. It highlighted the fusion of high fashion with collectible toys. Further, the organizers held the auction to support UNESCO and directed the proceeds to benefit the organization.

From quirky blind boxes to life-sized sculptures, Labubu proves that the line between toys and luxury is disappearing. Hence, celebrities, and investors are all taking notice. It is because these dolls aren’t just cute, they are big business. Whether it’s a tiny blind box or a life-sized sculpture, one thing is clear. The Labubu resell price continues to soar, turning these toys into serious collector’s items.
