Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Public Services Department warned that severe measures may be enacted against state civil servants found to be violating integrity standards.

Its Director General Datuk Zainudin Aman said he had instructed relevant ministries and departments to thoroughly examine reported complaints before proceeding with any actions.

He said public service members engaging in misconduct will face consequences, in line with established regulations.

He stressed the importance of adhering to disciplinary standards set by both Federal and State governments, highlighting that all public servants are duty-bound to fulfil their roles and responsibilities within these guidelines.
