Inter Milan fullback Denzel Dumfries was proud of his performance in their Champions League semifinal win against AC Milan.
The 1-0 second-leg victory sees Inter reach the final 3-0 on aggregate.
Dumfries said on RTL7: "The duels with (Rafael) Leao? He's a great player, he's important for them.
"It was up to me to render him harmless. I have great respect for him who is a great player, always difficult to face, but today as a team we did very well.
"My first task is obviously to defend. In a game like today you also need to know how to read the game. In Italy you learn very well how to put a match to sleep and we are very good at that."
