Inter Milan GM Beppe Marotta says withdrawing the captaincy from Milan Skriniar was the right decision.
The Slovakia has lost the armband to Lautaro Martinez after committing to PSG for next season.
Marotta said, "If certain values aren't implemented, you can't aspire to be a candidate for the armband.
"The values in question are the sense of belonging, love for the club, and a whole series of situations that are fundamental."
Skriniar will leave Inter in June when his contract expires.
