Former Inter Milan star Benny Carbone says they can be proud of their Champions League performance.
The Nerrazzuri ran Manchester City close in Istanbul, losing 1-0.
Carbone told Gazzetta del Sud: "Inter were unlucky. They put City down, creating the best chances.
"Unfortunately, (Romelu) Lukaku and Lautaro (Martinez) were wrong, while the English were more cynical.
"If they had gone into extra time, the Nerazzurri would probably have won. But they'll try again next year."
