Inter Milan striker Martin Satriano is excited about his loan move to Empoli.
It represents Satriano's first serious steps as a senior player in Italy after spending last season on-loan with Brest in France.
“I discussed it with (Matias) Vecino," Satriano said of the loan move, “he spoke very highly to me about Empoli.
“He played here for a season and enjoyed it a lot, so I had no doubts about accepting the move.
“I'm a striker, but I can play anywhere, even as a second striker, it's not a problem."
Of his experience on loan at Brest last campaign, Satriano state, “I enjoyed the French league, it's at a very high level. Here in Italy the style of football is more tactical, so it's more difficult for a striker."
