Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti admits they're seeking a new defender.
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has made the request after Andrea Ranocchia's departure for Monza.
Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah and Lazio veteran Francesco Acerbi are under consideration.
Zanetti confirmed: “We have to satisfy the coach's request, there are the alternatives you know.
"It's the last week of the market, we'll decide shortly. The important thing is that whoever arrives makes a contribution."
