Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, organised its investiture ceremony, marking the formal induction of the newly appointed House Council members and the beginning of their duties. The event highlighted the values of responsibility, discipline and leadership among students. The ceremony commenced with the traditional lamp-lighting ritual, symbolising the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge. This was followed by an invocation seeking divine guidance and blessings for the occasion. The newly elected council members were formally invested with their responsibilities as they proudly received their badges, pinned by Principal Gulshan Kaur. They also took a pledge to discharge their duties with sincerity, dedication and integrity. The school Core Council includes Akshita Chawla, Chahat Sikka, Jasganeev Kaur, Mishthi and Tanishq Kapoor. Addressing the gathering, Principal Gulshan Kaur shared words of wisdom, emphasising that true leadership extends beyond authority and is deeply rooted in a sense of responsibility and service. The programme concluded with the singing of ‘Bhavan Stuti’, followed by the national anthem, bringing the event to a dignified close.
