  • Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag has been fined for using a vape inside the team's dressing room during an Indian Premier League (IPL) match.
  • Parag was docked 25 per cent of his match fee after being caught on TV coverage during the clash against Punjab Kings.
  • He breached Article 2.21 of the IPL's code of conduct, which relates to conduct that brings the game into disrepute.
  • Parag admitted to the offence and accepted the sanction imposed by the match referee, Amit Sharma.
  • The BCCI is also exploring further stringent action against the team, its officials, and players to uphold the IPL's reputation.
