Is France vs Sweden on TV? Channel, kick-off and how to watch World Cup last-32 clash

France will look to carry their group-stage momentum into the World Cup knockouts as they face Graham Potter’s Sweden in the round of 32.

Les Bleus are in red-hot form and look more than capable of going all the way after dispatching Senegal, Iraq and Norway in their three group outings, netting three or more goals in each of them.

Chasing the golden boot, Kylian Mbappe will look to add to his group-stage tally of four against the Swedes, who come into this game as massive underdogs.

Potter’s side eked through the group stage as one of the eight-best third-placed teams but will need to pull off the shock of the tournament so far to deny progression to Didier Deschamps, who will be back on the touchline after briefly returning back to France for his mother’s funeral.

Here’s everything you need to know.

When is France vs Sweden?

France’s clash with Sweden kicks off at 10pm BST (5pm ET) on Tuesday 30 June at the New York/New Jersey Stadium.

How can I watch it?

Viewers in the UK can watch the match on ITV1, or STV for Scottish fans. It will also be streamed on ITV X and STV Player.

Who will the winner face?

The winner will face Paraguay after they overcame Germany in a penalty-shootout upset. That match will take place on Saturday 4 July in Philadelphia.

Team news

William Saliba was rested against Norway after reportedly struggling with a back issue but is expected to reclaim his place against the Swedes.

Isak Hien is Sweden’s only injury concern, with Victor Lindelof set to be moved into defence from midfield in his absence.

Predicted line-ups

France XI: Maignan; Kounde, Upamecano, Saliba, Hernandez; Tchouameni, Rabiot; Olise, Dembele, Doue; Mbappe.

Sweden XI: Zetterstrom; Lagerbielke, Lindelof, Gudmundsson; Bernhardsson, Bergvall, Ayari, Stroud; Elanga, Gyokeres, Isak.
