• The social media platform X appears to be down as thousands of users report outages.
• According to DownDetector, a website that tracks outages, over 30,000 users reported issues accessing the platform on Monday morning.
• Posting on the website, one user commented that “posts aren’t loading right now,” while another user added, “comments aren’t loading.”
• Initial reports started to appear just after 9.30am Eastern time (2.30pm BST).
• The outage website says that 45 per cent of the most reported problems are associated with the app, followed by feed/timeline at 30 per cent and the website at 15 per cent.
