IShowSpeed has revealed the bizarre reason he is not attending Portugal’s World Cup match against Croatia.
The American influencer has become a huge soccer fan over the last five years, and his favourite player is Cristiano Ronaldo.
Speed has often gone viral for mimicking Ronaldo’s iconic ‘siuuu’ celebration, and he has even met the Portuguese legend.
Speed had tickets to watch Ronaldo in Portugal’s World Cup Round of 32 game in Toronto on Thursday.
However, he has missed the chance to watch his idol at the World Cup due to extremely bad luck with flights.

Speed announced on Thursday afternoon that his flight from San Francisco to Toronto had been cancelled.
He then asked his four million followers on X whether they could help him book a private jet to Toronto instead.
“Who has a jet or plane in San Francisco? I need to get to Toronto,” he said. “My plane got cancelled, and now I can’t see Ronaldo play. This is so bad, please help.”
Speed found another way to fly to Canada to watch Ronaldo, but that flight was also cancelled for an unfortunate reason.
A crack in the windshield meant the plane was not allowed to take off, leaving Speed stranded on the West Coast.
“Guys, I honestly can’t believe this. Guess what. As I’m going on a flight, they said there’s a windshield crack, so I can’t leave,” he added.
“I can’t go to Canada and watch Ronaldo. I had two flights, and they both got cancelled. I don’t know what to do. I’m sorry.
“I don’t think I’m going to be able to see Ronaldo. I love you all. I’ll still watch the game, but I’m not making it to the game. I’m not making it. I tried.”
With Ronaldo likely to retire at the end of the World Cup, Speed is not guaranteed another opportunity to watch his idol.
