A woman shares her frustration over a rubbish pile at a car park, calling for better waste management to protect hygiene and public health

A WOMAN has expressed her frustration over a pile of rubbish accumulating at a car park near a place she visits almost every day, saying it has turned an otherwise beautiful area into an eyesore.

She said it was disheartening to see the rubbish continue to pile up, adding that the issue was not only affecting the area’s appearance but also raising concerns over cleanliness and public health.

Taking to social media, she wrote:

“It breaks my heart to see this almost every day. It’s not just about the area looking cluttered and smelling unpleasant; it’s also about hygiene, public health and the image of our neighbourhood.

“This area is actually beautiful, but when rubbish piles up, it not only spoils the view but also attracts flies, rats and creates other health risks.

“A clean environment is not a luxury. It’s a basic right for everyone,” she wrote.

Her post resonated with many netizens, who agreed that proper waste management is essential to maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

Several commenters also advised her to lodge a report with the relevant local council so the matter could be addressed promptly.
