Ivan Perisic is delighted with his return to Hajduk Split.
The veteran wing-back has joined his formative club on-loan from Tottenham, where he comes off contract in June.
The 34 year-old is recovering from an ACL and said: "It's been a long time since I left Hajduk. So many emotions in the last few days, I didn't even sleep well.
"I'm happy to be here. The injury is there, but I work every day, all day. We'll see when I get back on the pitch. I can't wait for it all to begin.
"I started running 10-15 days ago. Step by step I hope to get on the field as soon as possible. I dreamed of Hajduk, I hope the debut happens as soon as possible.
"If the title comes with Hajduk it will be the highest moment."
