Liverpool's interest in Genk midfielder Sander Berge is intensifying.
The Mirror says the injury blow suffered by Liverpool midfielder Fabinho could see efforts to sign Berge intensify.
Berge, a 21-year-old defensive midfielder who plays for Belgian champions Genk, is a reported target for Liverpool .
And with Fabinho expected to be out at least until the new year, reports have claimed Liverpool may decide to move early for Norwegian international Berge.
Berge, who is also believed to be a target for Napoli and Chelsea, has previously said it would be "a dream" to play at Anfield "as often as possible".
The highly-rated midfielder looks set to depart Genk this summer, with only 18 months left on his contract.
