Galatasaray were ready to buy Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko last month.
Chelsea chiefs blocked a potential sale of midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko to Galatasaray or PSG before the window closed on Monday night, says the Daily Express.
Instead, he returned to Monaco on a season-long loan deal, having left them for 40million two years ago.
The French side will have the option to buy Bakayoko at the end of the loan spell for 38m, meaning Chelsea will only make a minimal loss on the deal.
And that is part of the reason as to why Chelsea refused to let him go to either Galatasaray or PSG.
