Back in the heyday of pirated DVDs, I was introduced to 24 by a good friend from my uni days. Let’s call him Faizal. A bit of trivia about Faizal — he was almost a chain smoker. When we lepak, his pack of cigarettes was always be open and facing him. Whenever he spoke, wisps of smoke would drift out of his mouth and nose so subtly that some of us nicknamed him Faizal Naga. Haha. The good thing is, he eventually managed to kick the habit completely. Unlike me. Though at least I do not have smoke coming out of my nostrils like a passive volcano.
