Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith seem to be living together again after years apart.
Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith may be sharing a home once again after years of living apart. The Hollywood power couple, who married in 1997 and share children Jaden and Willow, stunned fans when Jada revealed in her 2023 memoir Worthy that they had been secretly separated since 2016 despite remaining legally married.
Now, People reported Monday that Jada, 54, moved back in with Will, 57, two years ago. An insider told the outlet, “They are happy and love each other and are, as ever, committed to supporting each other.”
Representatives for Will and Jada did not immediately return The Independent’s request for comment.
Last month, the actors made a public appearance together on the red carpet at Christian Louboutin’s Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show to support creative director Jaden, 27, during Paris Fashion Week.
The couple posed for pictures with Willow, 25, Jada’s mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and Will’s son Trey Smith, 33, whom he shares with his ex-wife Sheree Zampino.
Will and Jada have each been extremely open about their relationship in the public eye. After the former Red Table Talk host revealed in October 2023 that she and Will had been separated for seven years, she told People that she and her husband were still “figuring it out.”
“We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together,” the A Different World actor said at the time. “We just got deep love for each other and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us. I’m going to be by his side… but also allow him to have to figure this out for himself.”
The split followed Will’s infamous 2022 Oscars slap, in which he took the stage and hit awards show host Chris Rock across the face for a joke about Jada’s baldness, which is caused by her alopecia. Will then took his seat next to Jada and screamed at Rock, “Keep my wife’s name out your f***ing mouth.”
In December 2023, Jada said that the viral moment — which Will later apologized for — caused her to reflect on her marriage.
“After all those years trying to figure out if I would leave Will’s side, it took that slap for me to see I will never leave him,” she told the Daily Mail at the time. “Who knows where our relationship would be if that hadn’t happened?”
