Jalandhar’s Anish Chawla cracked the JEE Advanced examination this year, securing an All India Rank (AIR) of 328 in the results declared on Monday.

Earlier, he scored a 99.997 percentile in JEE Main, securing an AIR 86. A student of Cambridge International (Co-Ed) School, Anish comes from a family of doctors. His grandmother, Dr Sushma Chawla, is a renowned gynaecologist. His parents, Dr Deepak Chawla and Dr Shikha Chawla, as well as his maternal grandparents, maternal uncles and paternal aunt, are all doctors. However, Anish chose a different career path for himself.

Expressing her pride, his mother, Dr Shikha Chawla, said, “Anish has always been consistent in his studies. He set a target for himself and achieved it through meticulous planning. After school and coaching classes, he ensured he had sufficient time for self-study. Since completing his Class XII board examinations, he had been focusing solely on mock tests, self-assessments and practising a wide variety of questions.”
