Jalen Williams’ latest injury scare came after just seven minutes against the Spurs, turning Oklahoma City’s Game 2 win into a more complicated night.

The Thunder forward was spotted getting treatment before being ruled out, with the team later listed him as having left hamstring tightness.

OKC still beat San Antonio 122-113 to level the Western Conference Finals, but Williams’ status now shapes the series as much as the scoreline.

According to reporter Brett Siegel, Williams left the match with left hamstring tightness, although the severity of the problem remains unclear before further medical testing.

That uncertainty is worrying because this is the same hamstring he strained in Game 2 of the first round.

Williams then missed six playoff games, sitting out two against Phoenix and all four against the Lakers before returning for the West finals opener.

If this setback follows the same timeline, Williams could miss the rest of the Western Conference Finals, with possible Games 3 to 7 running through 30 May.

That is not an official recovery projection, but it gives OKC a clear reason for caution until the medical picture is confirmed.

ESPN reported Williams is set for an MRI on Thursday, while Mark Daigneault declined to speculate before doctors review him.

The timing is brutal. Williams scored 26 points in Game 1 and, without him, more responsibility falls on Cason Wallace, Aaron Wiggins and the wider rotation as the series moves to San Antonio.

OKC have already survived without Williams once this postseason, but doing it against the Spurs in the West finals would be a tougher test.
