- Jannik Sinner won the Miami Open on Sunday evening by beating Jiri Lehecka in straight sets.
- Sinner was aiming to complete the ‘Sunshine Double’ after winning at Indian Wells earlier this month.
- Sunday’s final was disrupted by rain but Sinner was able to maintain his composure to pick up a 6-4, 6-4 victory.
- In doing so, he became the first man in history to win the ‘Sunshine Double’ without dropping a set.
- Sinner admitted it had been an “incredible” few weeks for him after he lost in the Australian Open semi-finals and the Qatar Open quarter-finals earlier in the season.
