Janti Miller commits to La Salle

MANILA, Philippines — Fil-Am guard Janti Miller committed to the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball champs De La Salle Green Archers after helping lead the San Beda Red Lions to the NCAA Season 101 title last year.

Miller announced his move in an Instagram post Wednesday featuring him photoshopped in a La Salle green jersey.

"Let's do it, committed," the 6-foot-4 Miller captioned the post.

Miller will serve a one year residency before being eligible to play for La Salle at the UAAP Season 90 in 2027, kickstarting his final two playing collegiate years.

The 22-year-old Miller posted 19.77 points, 6.08 rebounds, and 1.15 assists per game in San Beda's title run last year.

In another player movement in collegiate basketball, forward Mark Belmonte departed from the UP Fighting Maroons and the UAAP after a 3-year stay with one championship.

Belmonte seeks a new path in the NCAA where he will be eligible to play for whichever team he joins come Season 103 in 2027.
