Burnley are moving to beat PSV Eindhoven to the signing of Stoke City defender Erik Pieters.
Pieters is eager to leave Stoke this summer, having spent part of last season on-loan in France with Amiens.
Eindhovens Dagblad says PSV have made a move for the Holland international.
However, Burnley boss Sean Dyche is keen and eager to keep Pieters in England next season.
Amiens are also interested, though a move to Turf Moor would suit the experienced defender.
