Jetour Malaysia has officially introduced the all-new Jetour T1 SUV, offering buyers a choice of 1.5-litre front-wheel-drive and 2.0-litre all-wheel-drive variants, with prices starting from RM129,800 and an early bird rebate for the first 2,000 customers.
Jetour Malaysia has launched the Jetour T1 in Malaysia, with two variants offered. The Jetour T1 1.5L TGDi 2WD is priced at RM 129,800, while the Jetour T1 2.0L TGDi XWD is priced at RM 146,800. Prices are nett selling prices, excluding registration fee, inspection fee, hire purchase ownership, road tax and insurance, and are valid for Peninsular Malaysia only.
Positioned below the Jetour T2, the T1 is designed as a modern urban SUV under the brand’s Travel+ philosophy. It measures 4,705 mm long and 1,967 mm wide, with a 2,800 mm wheelbase. Compared to the T2, the T1 is 80 mm shorter and 39 mm narrower.
The T1 1.5L TGDi 2WD is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 170 PS and 270 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The higher-spec T1 2.0L TGDi XWD uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 245 PS and 375 Nm. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and Jetour’s intelligent all-wheel drive system. This variant also adds 7+X drive modes.
Visually, the T1 features what Jetour describes as a curvy utilitarian design, with Storm-Eye LED headlamps, a bold front grille and clean body lines. Four exterior colours are available: Khaki White, Aviation Silver, Sand Gold and Carbon Black.
The T1 1.5L TGDi 2WD gets 18-inch Diamond-style alloy wheels with 235/65R18 tyres, a 12.8-inch multimedia display and an eight-speaker audio system.
The T1 2.0L TGDi XWD adds 19-inch Petal-style alloy wheels with 235/60R19 tyres, a panoramic sunroof, powered front passenger seat with leg rest, a larger 15.6-inch multimedia display and a nine-speaker Sony premium audio system.
Inside, both variants get a 10.3-inch digital meter cluster, paddle shifters, leatherette seats, a powered driver’s seat, front ventilated seats, ambient lighting, voice assistant, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 50W wireless charger and seven USB ports.
Safety equipment includes six airbags, Level 2 Advanced Driving Assistance Systems that include autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and lane keep assist. The T2 also features a panoramic view monitoring system
Jetour Malaysia says the T1 is backed by a 7-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty, a 10-year or 1,000,000 km powertrain warranty, and five complimentary maintenance services. Customers can now view, test drive and book the Jetour T1 at all 43 authorised Jetour showrooms nationwide.
