Malaysia’s SUV shelf just gained another contender. JETOUR Malaysia has launched the all-new T1, an urban SUV that leans into the brand’s travel-and-adventure identity while keeping daily driving in mind. It arrived in Kuala Lumpur on 22 July 2026 and is already in showrooms nationwide.
A boxy, modern look
The T1 wears a curvy utilitarian design with Storm-Eye LED headlamps, a bold front grille and clean, sculpted lines. It sits on a monocoque platform with a 2,800mm wheelbase, which JETOUR says keeps the ride stable and the cabin roomy. Buyers can choose from four colours: Khaki White, Aviation Silver, Sand Gold and Carbon Black.
Two variants, two personalities
There are two versions. The T1 1.5L TGDi 2WD runs a 1.5-litre turbo engine making 125kW (170PS) and 270Nm, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The T1 2.0L TGDi XWD steps up to a 2.0-litre turbo with 180kW (245PS) and 375Nm, plus an intelligent all-wheel-drive system for extra grip in changing conditions.
Inside, both variants get a 10.3-inch digital cluster, leatherette seats, a driver power seat, front ventilated seats, ambient lighting, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 50W wireless charger and seven USB ports. The entry model adds 18-inch alloys, a 12.8-inch screen and an eight-speaker system, while the XWD brings 19-inch alloys, a panoramic sunroof, a front passenger seat with leg rest, a larger 15.6-inch screen and a nine-speaker Sony audio setup.
Safety comes standard
Both T1 variants carry six airbags, a Level 2 suite of advanced driver assistance features and a panoramic camera system. The SUV earned a 5-star ASEAN NCAP rating with an overall score of 87.67 points.
Price and availability
The JETOUR T1 is priced at RM129,800 for the 1.5L TGDi 2WD and RM146,800 for the 2.0L TGDi XWD (nett, for Peninsular Malaysia). Ownership is backed by a 7-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty, a 10-year or 1,000,000km powertrain warranty and five free maintenance services. The car is available for test drives and bookings at 43 JETOUR showrooms nationwide. As an early-bird offer, the first 2,000 registrations get a RM2,000 rebate and financing from as low as 1.68%.
The takeaway
With a five-star safety score, a long warranty and a price that undercuts many established SUVs, the T1 gives Malaysian families and weekend adventurers a well-equipped new option to consider.
