MANILA, Philippines — Young entrepreneur Josh Mojica is putting his love life on hold as he focuses on his career, business ventures and other personal priorities.
Mojica clarified that he is currently single and denied dating actress Yumi Garcia, following online speculation linking the two.
The CEO of Mojica Ventures Corp., KCO and SOCIA said he is not actively looking for a relationship at this point in his life.
“I'm single. I’m not really looking for a relationship right now because, as I say, it’s not my priority. I’m not actively looking po for a relationship,” Mojica said in a statement.
Mojica stressed that being single is a personal choice for now rather than a decision to completely close himself off to romance.
He also addressed the speculation involving Garcia, noting how interactions on social media can easily lead to assumptions about two people’s relationship.
“Sa internet talaga, may makasama ka lang, they will already connect the dots before asking if the dots were even connected,” he said.
Mojica acknowledged why some people drew a connection between him and Garcia, particularly given the timing of the speculation surrounding the actress.
“Para sa akin po kasi, hindi ko naman sila masisi kasi sakto rin naman po sa timing, and ’yung issue din ni Yumi is very timely,” he added.
Despite the online buzz, Mojica made it clear that there is currently no romantic relationship between him and Garcia.
While he is not seeking a relationship now, Mojica said he remains open to finding love when the timing is right.
He said that if the right person eventually comes along, he wants to be ready for a relationship and expects the same readiness from his future partner.
“But if the right person comes, dapat ready ako, and also dapat ’yung babae ready din,” Mojica said.
For now, Mojica is choosing to prioritize his professional pursuits, leaving romance on the back burner as he continues to build his businesses.
As for the dating rumors, Mojica’s position is clear: He is single, not actively looking for a relationship and not dating Garcia.
