
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s Joyce Heng Shu Xia captured the women’s open title at the Perlis International Armwrestling Championship held on Sunday in Kuala Perlis.
She was the only State representative in the competition and the victory saw her taking home the winning cash prize of RM1,000.
Second place went to Nurul Ain Osman and Nur Hidayu Nor Rongzi in third.

She also said her next competition will be at the State level traditional sports carnival to be held at SMK Bahang, Penampang on May 24-25 followed by the National Armwrestling Championship in Melaka on July 18-21.
