- Real Madrid and England star Jude Bellingham has missed out on a spot in the top 10 of the Ballon d’Or rankings.
- Monday’s ceremony is taking place at the London Palladium, with Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal all in the mix for the top prize.
- Many expected Bellingham to also be pushing for a top five berth after he scored seven goals during England’s run to the World Cup semi-finals in the summer.
- However, Bellingham was ranked 11th, putting him four places above England teammate Declan Rice.
- The scorer of the winning goal in the World Cup final, Ferran Torres, finished 16th in the rankings.
