- He had sued Naomi Parry and Catriona Gourlay, alleging they dishonestly profited over £1 million from selling items such as clothes and jewellery.
- The judge, Ms Justice Clarke, ruled that Mr Winehouse had known about the intended auctions all along and pursued the claim for financial reasons.
- Mr Winehouse has been ordered to pay nearly £1 million in interim payments to Ms Parry and Ms Gourlay for their legal costs, in addition to his own substantial legal fees.
- The judge criticised Mr Winehouse for bringing an “inherently weak claim” and making “serious and unfounded allegations” against the two women.
