Kota Kinabalu: Sabah junior karatekas captured three silver and two bronze medals at the National Olympic Talent Championship held in Kedah from April 11-15.
The silver medal winners were Henrique Jasper (boys’ 13-14/-57kg), Shane Aaron (boys’ 13-13/-70kg) and Tarneleah Evachrist (girls’ 13-14/-61kg), while the two bronze medals were delivered by Aden Evo Andy Angkangon (kata boys’ 13-14) and Mason Lael Freddy (boys’ 15-16/-61kg).
The six-member State team was led by coach Alysheron Maunsiong from Tambunan and the other team member was Dezzie Chell Davis (girls’ 15-16/-48kg).
