Juventus hero Claudio Marchisio has recalled turning down Real Madrid.
Marchisio chose to stay with Juve in Serie B after they were relegated for the Calciopoli scandal over making a move to Real.
He recalled to AS: "I was very young.
"There was this possibility with Mr. Capello, I was in Serie B with Juve and I had just arrived at the first team, the one I loved.
"Honestly, it didn't seem fair to start my career by leaving the club where I grew up and of which I was always a fan."
