Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has decided to skip knee surgery.

There had been expectations that Pogba would go under the knife after suffering a knee injury in training in Los Angeles a fortnight ago.

The midfielder was face up to five months if he had taken the surgery route, which would've ruled him out of France's World Cup campaign.

The Frenchman over the next three weeks will undergo physiotherapy sessions and work between the gym and the swimming pool. Then he will return to the field, with different training sessions that will then allow him to gradually return to the squad.

The important thing, however, is the recovery time, with Pogba due to make a playing return in five weeks.
