Manchester City and Liverpool have joined the race for Flamengo midfielder Reinier.
The 17-year-old has yet to make a first team appearance for his club Flamengo but is already regarded as one of his country's top emerging talents.
He is under contract until December 2020 but would not be allowed to leave until he turns 18 in January.
Everton have made enquiries for Reinier as well as AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund but his prodigious talent means City, Liverpool and Barcelona are showing particularly keen interest.
Scouts are expected to watch him again this week when he plays for Brazil U17s against Paraguay on Tuesday and Friday, says the Daily Mail.
