
Golfing sisters Rabab Kahlon and Gairat Kaur Kahlon claim podium finish with a stellar performance at the Indian Golf Union (IGU) Maharashtra Ladies and Junior Girls Golf Tournament, at the Willingdon Sports Club, Mumbai. Both finished second in their respective categories, bringing laurels to the city.
Rabab won second position in the Category B and displayed consistency and composure throughout the three-day event. With a tournament total of 206, Rabab maintained her pace of play and held steady at second position on the leaderboard in Category B. Her younger sister, Gairat Kaur Kahlon claimed the second position in the Category C.
Gairat showed tremendous grit and improvement across all rounds. Her total of 223 strokes saw her climb the ranks each day to finish a commendable second in her category.
Both Rabab and Gairat are students of Manav Rachna International School, Mohali, and members of Chandigarh Golf Club. The sisters, who train daily under the Chandigarh Golf Association, credited their coaches and the association for their success.
