SANDAKAN: The futsal court in Kampung Karamunting has been upgraded to provide better facilities for the local community, particularly the youth.
Karamunting Assemblyman (ADUN), Datuk George Hiew Vun Zin, said the upgrade includes the construction of walls and beautification works on the court.
AdvertisementHe said, Batu Sapi Member of Parliament, Khairul Firdaus Akbar Khan, contributed by adding a roof to enhance players’ comfort.
“I hope this court will be fully utilised by the youth and well maintained, including ensuring its cleanliness is always preserved.

George said this after officiating the Karamunting DUN Open Futsal Tournament, which was recently held at the upgraded court.
