Former Russia star Andrei Kanchelskis is backing Spartak Moscow's move for Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez.
The Colombia international's management team has confirmed contact with Spartak.
And Kanchelskis told Sport-Express: "If the red-whites want to compete with Zenit, then they need such a player.
"Is it worth paying 15 million euros for him? If Spartak has money, let them pay. Zenit takes players, it has funding.
"If they want, let them take him."
