Former Manchester United winger Andrei Kanchelskis can't see Cristiano Ronaldo extending his deal next summer.

Ronaldo's current contract expires in June.

Kanchelskis told RB Sport: "I think that the contract with him will not be renewed. Probably, there are some disagreements with the new head coach. Most likely, soon his story with Manchester United will end. Cristiano does not play in the XI, this suggests that (Erik) Ten Hag does not need him.

"The parties need to find a compromise and agree. He himself will agree to such an option, for example, leaving in the winter transfer window.

"They wrote about the interest from the MLS clubs, the interest in him will be great, this is a media person known all over the world."
