Kota Kinabalu: Shotokan Karate Association of Sabah (SKAS) notched another milestone in its list of achievements after winning a gold and four bronze medals in the 20th Cadet, Youth Under-21 State Level Karate Championships recently.
SKAS karatekas won the medals in Kumite and Kata in the tournament organised by Sabah Karate Association (SKA).
The two-day event saw Md Haqeem Al Rayyan contributing the gold medal via the Male Junior Kumite (76kg). Nineteen teams from Sabah, Labuan and Brunei Darussalam participated in the annual event.
