A trio of content creators found themselves under fire after giving chicken bones to a homeless man in an apparent “act of kindness,” whereas the leftover meat was given to a dog.

The trio had apologised for the matter, clarifying that the homeless man was given a proper meal in the end, and that the latter was in on the act. Malaysian influencer and celebrity lawyer, Kong Jau Sang, has since responded to the viral video that enraged many Malaysians and reminded the trio about karma.

In his Facebook video, Kong slammed the trio for using the homeless man as content, questioning their morality, and said that if they insulted a beggar, they could become beggars themselves in the future.

“He is already at the lowest point of his life, and you feed him bones. Are you human?”

“Karma is real, brother. Don’t ever deny it,” Kong said.

Kong also reminded the content creators of how influencers must always have a sense of responsibility. He also warned them not to slip into the wrong path like he did. While he did not specify what he meant by this, Kong was known to cross-dress during multiple events, for which he received much criticism online.

Kong then explained that he was merely entertaining his followers.

As of the time of writing (August 6), the content creator trio had given their statements to MCMC, and they could face a fine of up to RM500,000 and a jail term of not more than 2 years. Following the apology, the content creator has not posted any recent updates.
