The Princess of Wales was all smiles as she made a triumphant return to Royal Ascot in a sunshine dress following her successful cancer battle.
Kate and William took part in the traditional carriage ride, enjoyed the races from the royal box and even shared a joke with former England manager Sir Gareth Southgate ahead of England’s World Cup match later.
The princess made her first appearance at the famous Berkshire meet since being diagnosed with cancer in early 2024 and later undergoing successful chemotherapy treatment.
She beamed form her royal carriage as she rode with the Prince of Wales past the stands packed with thousands of racegoers enjoying the second day of the sporting event, a highlight of the flat racing calendar.
Kate wore a stylish vibrant yellow dress by Roksanda and a matching Jane Taylor hat with earrings that belonged to the late Queen.
The future queen was also joined by her mother Carole Middleton, and other royal racegoers included the Princess Royal and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, Zara Phillips and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
Kate made a surprise appearance when William presented the trophies in the aptly named Prince of Wales’ Stakes.
The race was won by course favourite Ombudsman and the princess helped hand out the awards alongside her husband.
The prince and princess made a recent appearance with their children during the weekend’s Trooping the Colour ceremony and the couple were also part of Monday’s Garter Day celebrations at Windsor Castle.
Prince George joined his siblings at the celebrations for the King’s official birthday on Saturday and his parents announced on Monday he will be attending Eton College in the autumn, following in the footsteps of his father.
